Stack Stability Basics

Control starts with predictable alignment, not speed.

Core Principle

Every layer should be placed with a small correction budget. When movement width grows too large, the stack drifts and recovery becomes expensive.

Visual Cues

  • Watch left-right edge symmetry on the top segment.
  • Correct within two placements after drift appears.
  • Slow down before high-value transitions.

Practice Drill

Run three attempts where you only evaluate alignment quality. Ignore score and style in this drill.
