The Three-Layer Logic
Build each design with three roles: base tone, accent tone, and highlight tone. This keeps your stack readable even in fast sections and improves visual consistency.
When Contrast Helps
Use clear brightness differences between adjacent segments. Contrast makes errors easier to notice and helps you recover alignment earlier.
When Simplicity Wins
If control quality is unstable, reduce palette complexity. Two dominant tones plus one highlight usually look better than noisy multi-color jumps.
Pre-Run Visual Checklist
- Choose one theme before the run starts.
- Keep no more than one dramatic hue jump per short sequence.
- Reserve your cleanest color for the final visible section.
